The GeNEVERsleep blog: our guides to nightlife in French-speaking Switzerland.

Updated on · dates checked on the venues’ and festivals’ official sites

Looking for the biggest concerts in Geneva in 2026, and the ones in Lausanne worth the 40-minute train ride? We went through the programmes of Geneva Arena, Les Docks, L’Usine and Le Romandie and pulled out the big nights between now and spring. Short version: with Orelsan, three nights of Indochine and an already sold-out Kneecap, it’s not going to be a quiet winter.

Concerts at Geneva Arena: the dates to circle

The Arena is Geneva’s big room, in Grand-Saconnex right next to Palexpo and the airport station. It hosts the big French arena tours and international stars, and November–December is packed.

The headline is Orelsan on 19 November 2026. His March show sold out in minutes, so this is the extra date. It’s a proper show, funny and dense, and by the end the whole room is shouting “Basique”. A week later Bryan Adams (25 November 2026) brings the stadium hits. Yes, “Summer of ’69” will happen, and no, you won’t stay sitting down.

For French rap, there’s PLK on 11 December 2026 and Disiz on 18 December 2026, who tours with a six-piece band. The craziest booking is Indochine: three nights in a row, 15 to 17 December. In between, Feu! Chatterton (8 December 2026) bring their new album Labyrinthe, and they’re one of the classiest live bands in France.

For pop, look out for Laura Pausini (1 November 2026), Calema (7 November 2026), Lara Fabian (10 November 2026), Claudio Capéo (20 November 2026), Bigflo & Oli (29 November 2026), Florent Pagny (2 December 2026) and Christophe Maé (12 December 2026). 2027 opens with Ninho (23 January 2027), James Blunt (2 March 2027) and Hoshi (6 March 2027).

Heads-up: Patrick Bruel (18 November), Monte Cristo (14 November) and Nej’ (8 November) are listed as cancelled on the Arena’s site.

Les Docks, Lausanne: the best room for rock, indie and electronic gigs

Les Docks (Avenue de Sévelin 34) is our favourite place to see a band up close. It’s all standing, the gallery too, and the sound is great. This winter’s line-up is full of “only Swiss date” shows.

It starts strong with Cat Power (23 October 2026, sold out) and Sleaford Mods (25 October 2026), the angriest and funniest duo in England. Kneecap (21 November 2026) and Portugal. The Man (17 November 2026) are already sold out. Darkwave fans get Boy Harsher (18 November 2026). Later in the winter: Ibeyi, Sébastien Tellier, Turkish psych heroes Altın Gün, Laibach, Acid Arab and, above all, Royal Blood on 6 March 2027: two people making a noise the size of a stadium.

L’Usine and Le Romandie: the underground side

In Geneva, L’Usine (Place des Volontaires 4) has been a self-run cultural centre since 1989, and PTR, its rock association, has been booking gigs since 1983. Death-metal fans have Suffocation (27 October 2026), and the next night brings Dirty Three as part of Antigel Extra. Reggae fans get Kabaka Pyramid at Kalvingrad (23 October 2026).

In Lausanne, Le Romandie (Place de l’Europe 1a, in the Flon) is the classic small club-and-gig room. Catch Superpoze on 25 November 2026 and the double album launch by Coilguns on 12 and 13 December (the 12th is sold out). One more Geneva tip: First Aid Kit play on 29 November 2026 at the Les Créatives festival. It’s their only Swiss date.

What about the Vaudoise aréna?

There are no concerts announced at Lausanne’s Vaudoise aréna this autumn and winter. It’s home to Lausanne HC and hosts the European Figure Skating Championships from 27 to 31 January 2027. The next concerts come later: Mariza & Tony Carreira (12 June 2027), Angèle (6 November 2027) and Grand Corps Malade (25 November 2027). See the Vaudoise aréna site.
